One of Türkiye's most significant public construction undertakings — the new headquarters of the Turkish Armed Forces. Working alongside Rönesans Holding, one of Europe's largest contractors, provided immersion in mega-scale project operations: structural works supervision, concrete production monitoring, and site safety coordination across a vast, security-sensitive construction environment.
The Challenge
Operating within a security-sensitive mega-project requiring coordination across hundreds of workers, strict safety protocols, and complex structural engineering sequences at a scale rarely encountered in civilian construction.
The Outcome
Gained firsthand understanding of how mega-projects operate — from concrete batch plant logistics to the communication hierarchies that keep thousand-person sites functioning safely.
The Lesson
Scale changes everything. The principles of construction remain constant, but at mega-scale, communication and systems thinking become more important than any individual technical skill.
